What Has Gone Before:
The superhuman former basketball player Scott Stiles, also known as the Super Savior, has led 144,000 religious refugees from his famine-stricken Earth to an alternate Earth whose leading power is Turkey. The Turks were ready for them. They were captured near New York City by the army of this universe's Sultan, Hope Springs VII.
A hermit wizard monster-bee from yet a third universe was sucked along with the refugees. He used his wizard powers to resist capture, stung one man, then saved Scott Stiles and flew away. The stung man became a monster-bee and followed. They hide now in a warehouse in Bayonne, New Jersey - known as New Bosnia here.
Mr. Stiles went out exploring, and heard about the True USA - which only goes as far west as Denver. Meanwhile, the bees captured a rabbit and a duck - Atomic Bunny and Psychovant the Duck. Those are currently depowered, though Psychovant can still speak.
The Sultan began planning against the invaders. The Sultan has many consultants with many plans to deal with bees. One plan seems to have begun - with an artillery barrage. Scott Stiles's party has taken to the air to flee their enemies - yet they seem to be flying toward them.

Scott could see artillery shells flying toward them. And the bees were flying toward the cannons.
"Tor! What's Gavrilo doing?"
"Overmazzster Szzcott, my mazzter szzeekszz a Queen."
The bees were flying so close to the cannons, the enemy couldn't fire on them any more. Gavrilo had even gone beyond.
A middle-aged woman in military outfit drew her pistol and shot at Gavrilo. It had no effect. He stung her.
She started mutating.
Tor the Monster Bee landed next to Gavrilo, and spoke one last time. "We have a new leader."
He bucked. Scott Stiles fell off.
Scott was still holding on to Psychovant the cyborg duck by its feet. The duck said, "I think you got a mutiny here."
"You think?? ... Gavrilo!" The bee jerked to attention.
"Oh, you moron. Now the whole Turkish Army knows how to command him. So, on that note..." Psychovant yelled in amplified voice, "Gavrilo! Release my demon!"
A bolt of energy came from the monster bee's eyes, and struck the duck.
The duck morphed. It grew. It became more like a cartoon. Its mouth grew fangs. And its eyes spouted flame.
Psychovant looked down at Scott Stiles. "Still wanna hold on to me?"
"You're a demon? Now more than ever!" Scott slammed the demon duck back and forth onto the pavement. Wham Wham Wham Wham!
"Oh no!" The duck coughed. "It's all gettin' dark! So... much... bludgeoning!"
"No! I didn't mean to!"
"Well, I did!" Energy bolts came from the demon duck's eyes. Scott lost his grip. "So long, sucker!" Psychovant took to the air.
Scott looked around. The Turkish army's artillery brigade was still in confusion, as their commander became a monster bee.
One woman in Turkish army uniform dashed up to him. "Super-Savior! Come with me if you want to live!"
"I'm from the True USA! We can help free your friends! But you have to get away with me right now!"
"Oh..." Scott Stiles looked around. His duck was gone. His bees were bowing before the new bee queen. And he couldn't even believe he was trying to count ducks and bees in his army of the faithful. "I got nothing. I'm all yours."
Scott and the woman ran away, toward the back of the Turkish lines.
And the bunny in Scott's pocket said, "Nothing??"
To Be Continued in New Bosnia Part 5, The Land of Plans and Castles!
I should release this before I overthink it.
I spent so much time writing this series, some new developments arose among Monster Bees. It seems they have inborn protocols of what to do if they are removed from their hierarchy. So Scott Stiles has a mutiny on his hands.
I had considered having Psychovant accompany Scott Stiles for several more episodes, in an effort to get his power back with the help of the Monster Bee From Beyond. But Psychovant knows opportunity when he sees a mutiny. So he's broken free. This is probably just as well for Scott Stiles. That's the great advantage of character-driven comics... the plots make more sense. But let's remember, Psychovant can go anywhere - and he can even come back! Especially with the Atomic Bunny still around!
