Communication Standards of the Domination of Eiler The Domination of Eiler considers a Weblog (or "blog") to be the ideal vehicle for communications between it and its citizens. * Weblogs always regard their own founders with the respect which the Domination demands from its citizens. * Weblogs also provide feedback mechanisms for responses, in a manner that the Weblog founders can treat as they wish. * For some reason incomprehensible to the Domination leadership, Weblogs actually have audiences. Some Weblogs have the disadvantage of not having currently made their input mechanisms available to the Domination leadership at all places and times. The Domination of Eiler believes in download, storage, and upload for its communications, and disdains the need for complete electronic connection to the world at all times. However, the vendor Google seems to have an acceptable solution, "blogger.com". Other solutions will be evaluated before implementation. An alternate solution would be a mailing list on a public server which archives all list messages, such as Yahoo. As access is via e-mail, it can be made available anywhere that e-mail can be uploaded. However, until The Domination of Eiler gains entire and exclusive control of such a list, it cannot be considered an ideal solution. Failing an ideal solution, the Domination of Eiler considers a combination of plain text and HTML acceptable for the foreseeable future. E-mail links will be provided, so you can submit (e-mail) to the Domination. Therefore, the Domination currently maintains its communications in a combination of plain text and HTML files, with certain bits of blog-like software to allow Domination leadership to expedite its dispatches. The Domination publishes its files by its own means, namely, http://www.eilertech.com/domination/index.htm: this web page.
