The Hall of Sticks sells quality walking sticks, harvested from New England and the world.

Yes, you could just pick up a stick in the woods, instead of buying one. But then your stick wouldn't have:

  • A polyurethane finish to protect the stick.
  • A rubber foot to protect the stick's tip, and for added traction with the ground.
  • A leather strap to secure the stick from dropping.
  • A twine (or natural bark) grip on the stick for added traction with the hand.
  • A tag saying what kind of wood it is, and where it came from.

    • All sticks for sale at the Hall of Sticks have these things. They also all have an overall straight orientation, so they aren't crooked where they touch the ground. And they can each support the weight of at least a 180-pound man. (Otherwise, the 180-pound stickcarver wouldn't bother with them.) Some of the sticks are even decorated... but they're never stained; their color is natural stick color.

    These sticks all come from wood that is already cut or fallen. No live trees are ever harmed to make these sticks.
