As a way to contribute to an important cause, put a lot of feelings into action and have fun at the same time, the Office of Diversity is sponsoring it’s 1^st Annual 2005 Office of Diversity Thanksgiving Potluck event this year with the theme: 




"Thank You For Answering the Call to Those in Need of a Free Lunch"




Our project goal is to share an enticing luncheon on Monday, November 14th (11:30 - 1:00 PM) with food, games and entertainment as a way to show our appreciation to all those who volunteered countless hours and provided monetary donations to various worthy causes. We plan on serving many delicious food items of which will be donated from our very own product vendors, near-by sponsoring local restaurants, and Office of Diversity subscribers such as yourself.  This event will bring together many people with two goals in mind:

• to thank and recognize all the volunteers who worked for the Office of Diversity projects and
• to thank all the employees who participated in their kind monetary donations and assistance in supporting charity thrift store operations, which benefit children and families in need all around the Office of Diversity area.



As you know, without volunteers many of these programs would not exist.




We are currently asking some of you to share food to pass on November 14th. The Office of Diversity will be providing empty food trays (with detailed instructions) between November 8-10. You may use this food tray to put the food that you will be bringing for the potluck event. If you are an individual who would be willing to donate to this luncheon event, we would greatly appreciate your offer.  These donations will be used for the sole purpose and benefit of the volunteers and the Office of Diversity.
