It has come to the Board's attention that at least one person within the gay - lesbian - bisexual - transgender - bestiality - necrophilia - sadomasochism community has expressed concern with the Board's web site. In particular...
From: (submittor suppressed because we care but don't always share) Subject: Your offensive website You may not be aware, or maybe you are, but this webpage is extremely offensive to both the gay and straight communities. http://www.eilertech.com/diversity/diversity.htm please take it down.
As the purveyors of a caring, sharing website, the Board is committed to caring and sharing with everyone who cares and shares with it. With that in mind, we say...
Of course each individual's input is important to us, in a caring, sharing way. That individual's input is even more important to us, if s/he can truly claim to represent both the gay and straight sub-communities. It is important to us that our Board acknowledge all inputs, not just those of the gay and associated sub-communities. So, based on his/r input, the Board has decided to acknowledge straights as part of the greater community.
The Board is committed to care about the input of the entire straight - gay - lesbian - bisexual - transgender - bestiality - necrophilia - sadomasochism community, not just its individual components, or even the individuals within these components. If some part of the whole doesn't care about the rest of the whole, or wish to share an identity with the rest of the whole, the Board has to question that part's commitment to the whole. In cases where some part of the whole wants to suppress input from another part, the Board chooses to respond by caring and sharing even more.Remember: Freedom of expression is for everyone, not just for you.
