The Diversity Advisory Board cares about the straight - gay - lesbian - bisexual - transgender - bestiality - necrophilia - sadomasochism - self-love community. And it continues its mission to admit and publicize any sub-community, no matter how strange. The Board is proud to respond to any chance to care and share even more. And it's going the extra distance to make sure each sub-community's new events are accessible to all.

The Diversity Advisory Board hereby welcomes the Day of Prayer contingent to the greater straight - gay - lesbian - bisexual - transgender - bestiality - necrophilia - sadomasochism - self-love - prayer community. In an effort to make the National Day of Prayer observance accessible and inclusive to all, the Board will be taking the following measures.

• The observance will be moved to the parking lot, so our Hindu employees can drive up and pray before their dashboard icons. The Office of Diversity is informed, it would be sacrilege to remove the Hindu icons from the dashboards.
• Prayer mats will be provided for use by our Islamic employees. Volunteers are needed to determine what direction the Holy City of Mecca is from our parking lot.
• Dried herbs and pentacle-shaped bumper stickers will be available for sale, for the benefit of our Wiccan employees who haven't already stocked up for the holiday.

To those who feel offended when people pray differently during a National Day of Prayer, the Board reminds you:

Freedom of expression is for everyone, not just for you.

Celebrating Diversity messages help us raise our awareness and increase our knowledge about the rich resources we enjoy through our diversity. Celebrating Diversity messages are produced by caring, sharing individuals who volunteer their time to share with us special events related to their culture, experience, beliefs, or background.
